Merhaba Festival 2024
The Merhaba Festival is an annual celebration organized by the Anabs Eritrean Sports Club, aimed at promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle, mental and overall health, and community cohesion, while also supporting youth and newcomers. This vibrant event brings together the Eritrean-Canadian community and broader Ottawa residents to celebrate cultural heritage and foster connections. The festival features a range of activities designed to engage participants of all ages and backgrounds, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone.

Planned Activities
Mental Health Campaign
Through partnrships with local mental health and wellness professional, this campaign provides culturally appropriate mental health resources, workshops, and discussions. Attendees can access information on community-based mental health services and connect with professionals who understand the unique challenges faced by Eritrean-Canadians.
Recreational Soccer Tournaments
